De vernieuwde Beslisboom is een feit.
Kennis van en over het verloop van het Coronavirus is vanwege nieuwe inzichten aan veranderingen onderhevig. Zo ook de Beslisboom die door Kinderopvangorganisaties veelvuldig wordt gebruikt om een afweging te maken of kinderen wel of niet naar de kinderopvang mogen gaan.
De vernieuwde Beslisboom dateert van 30 november 2020. Hierin zijn o.a. de nieuwe adviezen voor het testen van kinderen opgenomen en ook de soepelere regels voor huisgenoten van jonge kinderen met koorts of benauwdheidsklachten. Ook is de feedback van gebruikers hierin verwerkt. Wij zijn blij met deze ontwikkelingen en het actualiseren van de beslisboom zorgt voor meer inzichten en duidelijkheid. Iets dat we juist in deze tijden nodig hebben.

Wijzigingen in de vernieuwde Beslisboom:
De vernieuwde Beslisboom, versie (30 november) is op de volgende punten gewijzigd:
- De inleiding is vervangen door een kort overzicht van aandachtspunten die van belang zijn voordat er met de beslisboom wordt gestart.
- Aan de startvraag is ‘in de afgelopen 10 dagen’ toegevoegd.
- Bij resultaat ‘Kind blijft thuis’ is toevoegd’ en laat zich (eventueel) testen’. Zie ook de toelichting hieronder.
- Bij klachten van een huisgenoot wordt er onderscheid gemaakt tussen twee leeftijsdcategorieën:
- Huisgenoten van 0 jaar t/m groep 2: als het broertje of zusje klachten heeft die passen bij corona én koorts of benauwdheid heeft, hoeft het kind waarvoor de beslisboom wordt doorlopen niet thuis te blijven. Tenzij het broertje of zusje de afgelopen 14 dagen contact heeft gehad met iemand buiten het huishouden die corona heeft, zie de beslisboom.
- Huisgenoten uit groep 3 of ouder: regels zijn onveranderd.
- De thuisblijfperiode na een contact met iemand met corona is conform het RIVM advies 14 dagen.
- De vraag of het kind terugkomt uit een rood of oranje gebied is komen te vervallen.
- De term ‘neusverkoudheid’ is vervangen door ‘verkoudheidsklachten’. Daarmee volgen we de formulering van het RIVM.
- Kader ‘Hoe lang moet een kind thuis blijven’ is uitgebreid zodat de regels duidelijker zijn.
- Kader ‘Wanneer een kind laten testen’ is aangepast conform het laatste advies van het RIVM (zie uitleg hieronder).
Gewijzigd testadvies
Enige tijd is er een tekort aan testcapaciteit geweest waardoor er prioriteiten werden gesteld. De testcapaciteit is nu weer voldoende. Daarom zijn de adviezen voor het testen van kinderen tot en met 12 jaar op Covid-19 (corona) aangepast:
0 jaar t/m groep 2
Kinderen met verkoudheidsklachten en/of koorts/benauwdheid hoeven in principe niet getest te worden. Testen mag wel, maar is geen dringend advies. Testen wordt wel dringend geadviseerd als het kind onderdeel uit maakt van een bron- en contactonderzoek, een uitbraakonderzoek of als het kind ernstig ziek is.
Groep 3 t/m groep 8
Kinderen met alleen verkoudheidsklachten mogen getest worden, maar dat is geen dringend advies. Testen wordt wel dringend geadviseerd als het kind onderdeel uit maakt van bron- en contactonderzoek, een uitbraakonderzoek of als het kind ook koorts en/of benauwdheid heeft of ernstig ziek is. Ongeacht dit testadvies mogen kinderen met klachten op verzoek van bijvoorbeeld de ouders of zorgverlener altijd getest worden.
Bovenstaande informatie is opgenomen in de Beslisboom in het kader ‘wanneer een kind laten testen?’ Als het kind onderdeel uitmaakt van een bron- en contactonderzoek of uitbraakonderzoek is het testadvies dringender dan in de andere situaties waarin het kind thuis moet blijven. Testen kan nooit worden verplicht.
